Chine Imperiale by Annick Goutal is a Musky, Spicy, Citrus, Black Tea scent from the 1990s. It is as rare as a unicorn! Nothing is known about this, except this exellent 2009 article from the online blog, Perfume Posse. Many thanks to them for their research.
Offered is one extremely rare 125ml or 4 1/6oz new boxed spray bottle of 25% concentration, which correlates to a very strong eau de parfum. Sampled once for freshness (and out of curiosity!). Resealed with inert gas to guard against future deterioration. It smells absolutely divine, and has the vintage Goutal signature musky citrus accord. This is a Parfum d'Ambiance, or Room Spray, not a perfume produced for use on the body. LIKE ALL OLD GOUTAL BOTTLES THIS ONE IS A SCREW TOP AND PRONE TO LEAKAGE. The liquid will be decanted into a sanitary container and sent alongside the Goutal bottle with a funnel for you to refill once it arrives to you. Given the nature of these bottles to seep or leak, it will not be sent with the liquid contents inside the bottle under any circumstances.
