Bellodgia is a classic Floral for women was launched in 1927 by the fragrance house of Caron, and created by their master perfumer Ernest Daltroff. Due to current restrictions on the use of the aroma chemical isoeugenol, Caron felt that Bellodgia could no longer be truthfully created, and so discontinued the formula.

Offered is the curved rectangular bottle from the 1980s. It is a natural spray sized 3.3oz/100ml, with a concentration of 15% oils (making it the equivalent strength of a modern-day eau de parfum). The bottle is without a box. This came in vintage new with 3% evaporation, and was sprayed once by me to ensure freshness- it smells excellent! More spicy, ambery, and with a more pronounced Play-Doh note than the amphora shaped bottle from the 2000s. Photos are of the actual item for sale. This is the older formula we all love.
