Daphne is a 2026 release from the historic Italian perfume house Farmacia SS. Annunziata. Daphne, a part of the Street Art Collection, was created by perfumer Cristiano Canali.
The artist whose work illustrated the fragrance is Nian (1990, Florence). Nian is a painter and muralist who studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and subsequently pursued studies in art therapy.
Her research focuses on the female figure and emotional intimacy, where faces and bodies become spaces for perception and listening. Through figurative painting—blending elements of magical realism and primitivism—she creates suspended and contemplative imagery. Nian's work explores the complexity of human feeling, evoking intimate atmospheres where diverse emotions coexist.
