Title

Bandit by Robert Piguet is a Chypre Floral fragrance created by Germaine Cellier in 1944 to celebrate the independent women who were part of the WWII war machine and those who stayed home to support their families. Bandit is known for its profound leather notes.

Aldehydes, Galbanum, Artemisia, Bergamot, Neroli, Gardenia, Ylang-Ylang, Orange

Heart Note

Carnation, Jasmine, Violet Root, Rose, Tuberose

Base Notes
Oakmoss, Leather, Civet, Vetiver, Patchouli, Myrrh, Musk, Amber, Coconut

 

 

Offered are:

  • One exceedingly rare 1/8oz/3.7ml parfum splash in its original old box. The bottle and box are in excellent condition. A little piece of history! This is the first, original, old formula, from 1945-47 (note reference to Brigand on the back; used only for marketing in the US during those years).  Never opened, but with some darkening of the liquid.  This should be amazing.
  • Samples from a contemporaneous bottle marked Brigand, first opened in September 2025.

SAMPLES ARE SIZED 1/4 OF A MILLILITER,  WHICH IS 1/4000th OF A LITER or 1/120th OF AN OUNCE. THIS IS A VERY SMALL AMOUNT WHICH WILL BE SENT IN A SMALL GLASS VIAL FILLED ONE-QUARTER OF THE WAY.
