Perverso is a 2019 release from niche perfume house Baruti and perfumer Spyros Drosopoulos. Baruti's fragrances are born of "Combining novelty with familiarity, our scents defy conventions, yet endear themselves to their surroundings. Rooted in the subconscious, each fragrance is designed to trigger the imagination and take you on a captivating olfactive journey." This fragrance has a scent profile of sweet, woody, amber, nutty, tobacco, rum, cacao, caramel, warm spicy, and fruity.

The name comes from the German expression Pervers Gut, which freely translated means perversely good. I use this expression often for food or beverages that are heavily loaded with chocolate. The name fits the perfume as it not only contains delicious notes but also massive quantities of them. It’s built around a chocolate/hazelnut accord which is contrasted by Tobacco and a very sexy dry down. It’s definitely a head turner that will generate attention when you wear it. Guaranteed."
