Caron BELLODGIA vintage parfum 1950s
Vintage 1950s pure parfum of Caron Bellodgia in the rare 3.274oz size. This classic floral perfume for women was launched in 1927 by the house of Caron, and created by their master perfumer Ernest Daltroff. Due to current restrictions on the use of the aroma chemical isoeugenol, Caron felt that Bellodgia could no longer be truthfully created, and so discontinued the formula.
This Bellodgia is presented in a beautiful bottle with a Baccarat prism like faceted stopper, designed by Félicie Vanpouille. The label on the bottle is in near mint condition. The original box shows the first address of Caron at 10 Rue de la Paix, Paris, France. The presentation box is printed with Breveté SGDG which was a type of French patent that ceased to exist in 1968 and the price tag on the back is from a Denver store that closed in 1958, so we know this bottle dates before then. The bottle is ~87% full, as some has been lost due to evaporation. Original presentation box has some soiling on the textured pattern. No chips or cracks to the bottle. This presentation is in absolutely outstanding condition- a true collector's dream.
