Carven HOMME vintage eau de toilette
Carven Homme Cologne by Carven is a woody spicy men’s cologne that was released in 1999. It has woody, fresh spicy, aromatic, balsamic, and warm spicy main accords. This complex blend starts with head notes of lavender, geranium, bergamot, juniper berries, and palisander rosewood. At the heart are spicy and woody notes of sandalwood, cinnamon, nutmeg, cedar, vetiver, and coriander. Tobacco, amber, musk, leather, French labdanum, vanilla, and patchouli form the base notes. This scent is ideal for day wear during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. It’s long lasting, with moderate sillage.
Carven is the name of the company founded by French designer Marie-Louise Carven (born Carmen de Tommaso) in 1945. With a shop on the Champs-Elysees in Paris, the brand released its first fragrance in 1946, the famous Ma Griffe, along with fashion and accessories for petite women. Men’s wear and jewelry were added to the offerings by the late 1960s. Carven Parfums continues to produce women’s and men’s fragrances.
