The iconic Oriental fragrance Bal à Versailles by Jean Desprez was launched in 1962. 

Top Notes
Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin, Neroli, Rosemary, Orange Blossom, Cassia, Rose, Jasmine

Heart Notes
Rose de Mai, Lily of the Valley, Lilac, Orris, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Vetiver, Leather, Patchouli

Base Notes
Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Civet, Benzoin, Amber, Musk, Melilot (Sweet Clover), Tolu Balsam, Resins

Offered is a 30ml splash parfum in the lyre flacon, boxed. The flacon is sealed but has approximately 5% evaporation.  Samples are made from a contemporaneous lyre flaon seen in photo #1.
