Parfums Grès CABOCHARD vintage eau de toilette
Cabochard by the house of Gres was created for the designer Madame Alix Gres by the iconic perfumer Bernard Chant in 1959. Madame Gres had recently returned from India and wanted to create a composition which reflected the beautiful florals and rich spices she encountered on her voyage. Upon the completion of the composition, she said that it reminded her of her walks along the long and empty beaches of India: sharp freshness of the morning air, warmth of sandalwood, a touch of flower and comfort of the sea breeze.
Aldehydes, Spicy Notes, Fruity Notes, Tarragon, Asafoetida, Hesperides, Mandarin, Clary Sage, Cardamom, Galbanum
Offered is a vintage Cabochard Eau de Toilette, 230ml or 7.7oz, still sealed in cellophane! This bottle likely dates from the 1970s. It is almost certainly a splash bottle that appears as the one in the photo. Note: this box is sealed, photos of bottle/bottle with box are for reference only.
