La Nuit by Paco Rabanne is a classic Chypre Floral fragrance from 1985 created for women by perfumers Rosendo Mateu and Jean Guichard. La Nuit is known for its blatant and gorgeous use of an animalic "barnyard" accord in a modern commercial perfume, accomplished with the use of Civet in combination with Oakmoss and Patchouli with Woods. La Nuit has an aroma profile of animalic, woody, mossy, musky, fresh spicy, honey, earthy, leather, sweet, and citrus accords.
