Parfums Grès CABOCHARD parfum pre-1982
Parfums Grès CABOCHARD parfum pre-1982
Cabochard by the house of Gres was created for the designer Madame Alix Gres by the iconic perfumer Bernard Chant in 1959. Madame Gres had recently returned from India and wanted to create a composition which reflected the beautiful florals and rich spices she encountered on her voyage. Upon the completion of the composition, she said that it reminded her of her walks along the long and empty beaches of India: sharp freshness of the morning air, warmth of sandalwood, a touch of flower and comfort of the sea breeze.
Aldehydes, Spicy Notes, Fruity Notes, Tarragon, Asafoetida, Hesperides, Mandarin, Clary Sage, Cardamom, Galbanum
Offered is a vintage Cabochard pure parfum splash, in the half-ounce (15ml) sizes. The bottom is marked Parfums Gres and has no barcode, indicating it was before the sale of Gres in 1982. Note: this box is sealed; any photos of a bottle with box are for reference only.
