Shiseido ZEN original vintage 1980s eau de cologne

Zen by Shiseido is a feminine Chypre fragrance for women created by perfumer Josephine Catapano and released in 1964. This fragrance has an aromatic profile of floral, green powdery, woody, earthy, mossy, yellow floral, aromatic, white floral, and iris. 

Top Notes

 Hyacinth, Galbanum, Orange Blossom, Bergamot

Heart Notes

Orris Root, Carnation, Narcissus, Jasmine, Mimosa, Violet, Rose

Base Notes

Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Cedar, Musk, Amber

Offered is one rare, vintage new, unboxed 57ml/2oz spray bottle of eau de cologne. This is an authentic perfect and vintage version of the original formula, imported from Japan.  It has the now-banned propellant which was phased out in ~1983 and so this bottle dates to before that time.  Estate fresh from a collector.  One teeny spritz by me 4/2024 confirmed the quality is intact (the propellant displaces air in the bottle, resulting in a very reduced rate of ageing). There is a small nick to the front of the bottle and some red residue on the back of the bottle, as shown in the photos.
