Bellodgia is a classic floral perfume for women was launched in 1927 by the French perfume house of Caron, and created by their master perfumer Ernest Daltroff. Due to current restrictions on the use of the aroma chemical isoeugenol, Caron felt that Bellodgia could no longer be truthfully created, and so discontinued the formula.

Offered is an exceptional, large 3.274oz or 96ml bottle of pure parfum, estimated to be from the 1940s or 1950s, and in the original box. Approximately 85% fill level. There is evidence of some leakage, and the seal string is NOT intact. See our dating process below:
- Box displays address as "10 Rue de la Paix Paris," making the bottle pre-1962, when Caron was sold to Hottinger/Elkann and the address was changed to "104, Rue de Richelieu, Paris."
- Box shows "Brevete S.G.D.G," the French patent system which was discontinued in the early 1960's, meaning the bottle is pre-1960s.
- Price tag for department store Daniels & Fisher Denver is present - the store closed in 1957.
- Box shows patent number 2083113 for the "air conditioned box" with air pockets to reduce temperature changes, which was approved in 1937.
- The air conditioned box did not appear in circulation regularly until 1941.
- Result: This bottle was produced some time between 1941 and 1957.
