Jean Patou DIVINE FOLIE vintage eau de toilette
Jean Patou DIVINE FOLIE vintage eau de toilette
Divine Folie was a 1933 launch from the house of Jean Patou, composed by perfumer Henri Almeras. This Floral fragrance has a scent profile of white floral, yellow floral, woody, sweet, rose, citrus, floral, powdery, vanilla, and earthy.
Divine Folie is said to have been created to complement the sleek white satin and silk evening gown creations of Jean Patou, which stood in contrast to the little black cocktail dresses that Chanel was designing.
The version offered here is a bottle from the 1984 re-release as a part of the Ma Collection, a limited edition release of 12 of Jean Patou's earliest releases. These perfumes were recreated extremely faithfully to their original counterparts by Jean Patou perfumer Jean Kerleo.
Offered is a 50ml bottle of eau de toilette, vintage new in the Ma Collection box, full and unused. The box has significant shelf wear, and is missing the top flap, but the inner bottle is untouched and perfectly preserved.
