Lancome MAGIE NOIRE vintage parfum
Magie Noire was created in 1978 by by Gerard Goupy, Jean-Charles Niel and Yves Tanguy for the House of Lancome. Magie Noire, or "black magic" in French, is a classic, iconic Floral Chypre with Oriental facets. This unique composition doesn’t follow the classical pyramidal structure of most fragrances, but instead develops as a figure eight; it opens and fully reveals its character while the direction of its development suddenly changes, and it starts to move in the opposite direction, ending where it started.
Offered are vintage 1/2oz (15ml) splash flacons of pure parfum, either sealed in cellophane or without cellophane. These are early pre-barcode bottles that were sourced from a an older private collector who had them for many years. The actual unsealed item is shown in the photo. The sealed ones are lot number CF2E, which corresponds to 1987. The unsealed box does not have a printed lot number, likely it was on the missing cellophane, but it appears to be identical to the 2 sealed bottles.
Note, these are vintage items at least 20 years old, sealed and in good condition although the color may have darkened a bit over time.
