Les Indemodables AMBRE SUPREME eau de parfum

Ambre Suprême is a 2021 release from artisanal perfumery Les Indemodables, composed by renowned French perfumer Antoine Lie.  Les Indemodables aims to "ust off the writing codes of the great olfactory families by playing with overdoses of ingredients or unexpected associations, but without ever betraying the foundations of these olfactory constructions." Ambre Supreme is defined by a luxurious 10% dose of true Ambergris tincture of the highest quality.  Ambre Supreme has an aromatic palette of warm spicy, amber, aromatic, aldehydic, herbal, soft spicy, sweet, fresh, animalic, and white floral notes.

"Ambergris, the near-mythical aged and oxidized exudate from a sperm whale, is one of the most prized ingredients in perfumery. Due to its rarity and cost, Ambergris (“grey amber”) is synthetic in 99 percent perfumes that list it as an ingredient.

In Ambre Suprême, the natural version specially sourced and tinctured using our proprietary ultrasound extraction is used in a 10% dosage, putting a spotlight on this precious ingredient with a unique ability to amplify and unify other notes in a composition.

All of Ambregris' intriguing facets are on display from the ambery, animalic, to the mineral, marine-like and salty- adding what perfumer Antoine Lie describes as a “sheen, a patina, a feeling” to the fragrance.

Note: Samples are sold by the 1ml. You may purchase a maximum of 2ml. Samples of 1ml or less will come in a glass vial with a dabber. Samples larger than 1ml will come in small glass spray bottles. All samples will be consolidated unless expressly requested otherwise.
