Talento is a 2019 release from niche artisanal perfume house MendittoRosa, a house dedicated to natural materials, cruelty free compositions, and the pursuit of originality and perfumery as artwork. Composed by perfumers Amelie Bourgeois and Camille Chemardin, this fragrance is a part of the Talismans Extreme Collection: "Talismans protect us and grant us power; they are private prayers we hold close and whisper to in the dark. We wash them in tears. In times of shadow and ash they remind us we are safe and loved, guided and sacred." Talento has a scent profile of rose, aromatic, fresh spicy, green, woody, aldehydic, mossy, fresh, earthy, and warm spicy.

"All my roses were delicate and fragile, some of them sick; afflicted perhaps by inherited weaknesses. Perhaps this is the price to pay for such beauty. One day I dropped some mint leaves into a vase of my roses. The voracious mint surrounded and embraced the roses, guarding and protecting them. Now they grow beautiful and lush, without our help and without weaknesses. That's when I started thinking about the smell of Talent . The talent we need to live.

“For Talento I worked around the story of a rose that will gradually blossom thanks to a mint leaf. This fragrance begins with a soft and fragile rose, a barely-opened still slightly green rosebud. It nevertheless has a cold and pungent dark side, illustrated by the woody and aldehyde notes, like thorns that protect it from the outside world. A note of mint will gradually mingle with this rose and allow it to open up and blossom. This little rose will become fresh and airy. The mint will be like a remedy for his fragility and will bring him power.”
