Parfums Grès CABOCHARD parfum 1998-2002

Cabochard by the house of Gres was created for the designer Madame Alix Gres by the iconic perfumer Bernard Chant in 1959. Madame Gres had recently returned from India and wanted to create a composition which reflected the beautiful florals and rich spices she encountered on her voyage.  Upon the completion of the composition, she said that it reminded her of her walks along the long and empty beaches of India: sharp freshness of the morning air, warmth of sandalwood, a touch of flower and comfort of the sea breeze.

Offered are vintage Cabochard pure parfum splashes, in the quarter ounce (7.5ml) sizes. These are from the period when Escada Beaute owned Gres, which was from 1998-2002
