40 Knots was a 2012 launch by Xerjoff as a part of the "Join the Club" collection, which "brings a sense of pure luxury from members-only clubs and exclusive lifestyles." In keeping with that sense of exclusivity, Xerjoff does not release the ingredients or notes of Join the Club fragrances, "instead inviting the wearer to immerse themselves in the imagined world." This aromatic aquatic fragrance has an aroma profile of woody, marine, salty, aromatic, and green notes.
